Your group is encouraged to stay with us and experience the rugged western beauty and history of Juniper Well Ranch. We can host up to 250 guests for daytime or evening event and able to accommodate up to 36 guests overnight. Your group will enjoy our beautiful Celebration Park with gardens, patios, ancient juniper arches, BBQ’s a summer house, bodega and gift shop.
Outdoor Weddings
Juniper Well Ranch has hosted all kinds and sizes of weddings over the past 15 years. We've seen everything from a bride arriving in a horse drawn carriage to a wedding party dressed in kilts. Our overall goal is that everyone feels relaxed and comfortable. We work hard to ensure that your wedding will be special and remembered as a treasured time in your lives.
There are five guest cabins/cottages and we are 13 miles from downtown Prescott. We ask that the wedding party rent at least four cabins (we have a sixth home available for larger groups.) This lends itself to a more relaxed wedding preparation day and family togetherness. Depending on the family’s makeup, roughly 30 to 36 guests can stay on the Ranch. The drive to Prescott is 20 minutes.
Our wedding area is made up of over 10,000 sq ft of gardens and patios. It includes a summerhouse with 600 sq ft of covered deck area and three smaller buildings which are great for serving meals, setting up a bar, and a guest book signing area. The ceremony area can seat up to 200 guests and is under a canopy of 1,000 year old alligator bark junipers and ivy. To add to the romantic feeling, our one acre vineyard is located just behind the summerhouse.
The Summerhouse is a great place to set up a band or DJ and the dance floor. To add to the ambiance, fire pits and lots of twinkle lights on arches add warmth and a nice feeling to the reception. We are glad to do catering – Our specialty is authentic Mexican food, unusual, tasty and priced reasonably. You might also choose to cook your own meal or bring in an outside caterer.

Let us Plan a Western Experience for your Group
Join in some western fun on a Chuck Wagon BBQ’s, mule driven wagon rides, story telling around the campfire, horseshoe tournaments, nature walks, and much more can be arranged for a unique western experience. Children and adults alike can help Dave feed the horses and farm animals that live on the ranch ~ it's a fun way to start or end your day.
Map guided nature walks help you to learn about the plants and animals in the area. Learn to identify tracks from bobcats, deer, rabbits, skunks and even mountain lion. Identify hawks, ravens, quail and other birds that flock to our ranch. Find thousand year old alligator bark Juniper trees and pick herbs for your meals. Local artists www.sittingduckstudio.com have outdoor sculptures to enjoy and purchase if you like them.
Take a tour of the new Skull Valley Winery which is located at Juniper Well Ranch. The winery is still under construction, but anyone who every dreamed of opening their own winery will surely be interested in knowing what goes into make a bottle of wine.
Massages and Yoga classes can be arranged for those who would like to relax and really take advantage of the beautiful and calm surroundings. Yoga classes under the summer house can be arranged.
Tours of historic downtown Prescott, which was once the territorial capital of Arizona, can be arranged for your group.
